MISS ALICE MAHOOD TO WED LT. EVANS APRIL 4
Dr. and Mrs. Samuel Arthur Mahood of Denver have announced the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Alice Louise, to Lieutenant Joy Evans. The marriage ceremony will be performed April 4 in Denver.
Lt. Evans received his commission recently following his graduation from officer's candidate school at Camp Lee, Va.
Lt. Evans is well known in Randolph where he was employed at the McLean's Cash Store.

Joy Evans, 74, of Phoenix, a retired insurance administrator for the State of Arizona, died Aug. 30, 1989. He was born in Seneca, Neb., and was a World War II Army Air Forces veteran. Survivors include his wife, Alice; a son; and a grandchild. Memorial services: 3 p.m. Tuesday, Church of the Beatitudes, 555 W. Glendale Ave.
